Take a swing for Etobicoke General

Golf has fast become a very popular pastime. Even fair-weather golfers are hitting their mid-season form and looking to test their game. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned pro or need a little more time at the tee; the annual Etobicoke Invitational is a chance to hit the links for Etobicoke General Hospital (EGH).

With plans  to add a new building on the west side of EGH to house our ED, CCU and ICU in 2016, funds raised  at this year’s event are more important than ever.

The event is being hosted by one of the finest courses in the GTA – The Summit Golf Club in Richmond Hill. Foursomes are still available for the Etobicoke Invitational golf tournament happening on Monday, August 19.

With a mix of Osler staff and community supporters, it’s going to be a great gathering on one of the finest courses in the GTA. Hole-In-One Sponsor, Queensway Audi, is giving everyone a great incentive to put in some time at the driving range before the event!

Tournament organizers suggest packing a few extra balls — the 4th hole has a water hazard off the tee and is a popular spot to put your ball in the drink!

CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Going Beyond! One of Osler’s own, Dr. Shawn Kao, is dedicated to the health of our littlest patients AND gives generously of his time to Osler Foundation. Have you seen our new video promoting the Etobicoke Invitational golf tournament? Great swing, Dr. Kao!
